1. Introduction
FACIEM (Facial Recognition Security Authentication System) covers face recognition security authentication and authorization. It shall be used by people in security sensitive areas such as banks, homes and other secure premises, where access to different locations is restricted and public places where entry is at a risk of terrorism.
People in highly sensitive organizations are always at a high risk of malicious access to confidential data and potential burglary hence the system shall be applicable in all government and private organizations for identification and verification of a member of staff.

3. System Overview
The Face Recognition Security Authentication System (FACIEM) is designed to implement a strict verification process that will enable effective and efficient identity of authorized personnel.A Systems administrator shall be in charge of registering users of the system and also adding facial data to the system. He virtually interacts with all the systems’ components.
The System shall authenticate the system administrator through a username and password, in order to carry out the required system operations to the users. The Administrator shall register a subject’s face in the system and the system shall capture additional information such as the name of the person, access level among others.
4. Entity Relationship Diagram of Faciem
All the system’s transactional data is stored in the database that runs on a MySQL database engine.
